Co-chaired by Australia and Finland, the JEE Alliance provides a platform for information sharing and cooperation, and promotes an evidence-based approach to Joint External Evaluations and developing national action plans. The next meeting of the Alliance with a focus on Alliance strategic targets and related indicators for health security strengthening will take place on 25 October 2017 in Kampala, Uganda.

The JEE Alliance currently includes representation from 30 countries and 34 organizations. To date, the JEEs have been rolled out in nearly 60 countries. The diverse membership with its breadth of expertise and experience can contribute to sharing information and support follow up analysis and synthesis of JEE information and products to encourage, inform and assist progress in health security strengthening.

The focus of the JEE Alliance meeting on 25 October will be an informed discussion about Alliance strategic goals and related indicators, with a view on an outcome in early 2018.The meeting will be arranged in the margins of the 4th Global Health Security Agenda High Level Ministerial Meeting.
